Purposeful play and community

I feel purposeful play is very important for youth to be able to get the hands-on experience in learning. All you learn in different ways and it is important for them to get the hands-on experience on how they can really make a difference in their communities and in their own lives. When you're doing purposeful play you are not teaching at a youth member you are working with them and learning a new experience. A lot of the times they are learning a new skill but having fun in the meantime. Purpose of plane is not mean they're doing just a worksheet sitting down or just memorizing something for a test. Purposeful play makes it so they're interacting with the new skill their learning that will last a lifetime.
I feel Community is huge because it represents a large family helping one another. Sometimes communities come together to help individual families that might have fallen into hard times. I know my children's school is very good about this and how they think the community is one family. If a family is going through a hardship sometimes the school ask for different things or if a family member is going to be deployed we try to make it easier on the family for doing little things to help the transition of that family member being deployed. I feel the community includes the school the town and the people living in the community and if everyone's meeting each other's needs it works for youth to grow up in a well room modeled area. When a community comes together they become much stronger than one individual person and are able to help each other through the different hard times that they're having.
